Today we have a new feature, a wrapup of news from the last week or so involving Chicago area punk bands. Will this be a regular feature? Only time will tell. Let's get into it. Country punks Blind Adam and the Federal League released a video for their song "Another Lonely Weekend". The track comes from their upcoming self-titled album, coming out on Friskie Morris & Friends Records on April 28. Watch the video over at The Daily Country. Blind Adam and the Federal League play their record release show on April 28 at Chop Shop with the Crombies, the Dyes, Badwater Sound and the Family Gold. More info on that show here. Brown Bear Records released two new live albums on Record Store Day. "Richardson" Richardson: Big Band Live at the Space 3/31/2018 is a recording of their 10 year anniversary show featuring many special guests. Money made from that album will benefit Unchained at Last. Brown Bear Records also released a live album from Seasonal Men's Wear (RIP) - Live at the House of Pain 3/29/08, benefitting Michael Mosier Defeat DIPG Foundation. Nora Marks released their new EP, sprout. This one features Change the Rotation contributor Davey Dynamite on drums. Stream/download it at their Bandcamp page.

IM Cunj released the EP Intentional Disorientation on Grandmother's House Records. You may recognize IM Cunj as Connor from the aforementioned band Seasonal Men's Wear. Stream/download the new EP at Bandcamp.

Garage rock sibling duo White Mystery continued their 4/20 tradition by releasing a new full-length album. Hellion Blender is the band's ninth album in 10 years. White Mystery also played their 1,000th show on 4/20. Listen to Hellion Blender on Bandcamp.

Punk/hip-hop group Agents of Change released a new EP, Shit's All Fucked Up. This is the band's first new release since 2013's How You Gon' Wait?. Stream/download the new EP on Bandcamp.

The Brokedowns announced their new album, Sick of Space. The album will be released on May 18 through Red Scare Industries. The Brokedowns will play record release shows on May 18 at Reckless Records in Wicker Park and on May 19 at the Bomb Shelter in Elgin. The latter show is also a record release show for the Usuals.
